COMPLIANCE

We ensure compliance with all voluntary and legally prescribed regulations for our company's business activities

Contents

COMPLIANCE

Compliance refers to the observance of all voluntary and legally prescribed regulations and measures intended to ensure that a company's business activities are conducted in a legally compliant manner. The aim of our compliance program is to summarize all measures that ensure the conduct of the company and its employees with regard to all legal regulations that affect the company and its business activities.

HUMAN RIGHTS DUE DILIGENCE

Respect for human rights is a central component of our corporate culture and corporate governance.

As a market leader and family-owned company, we are aware of our special responsibility for social and environmental standards. We are therefore committed to the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the United Nations Global Compact. We expect our suppliers, service providers and other business partners to share these values and commit to upholding them.

DECLARATION OF PRINCIPLES

In our declaration of principles on respect for human rights we describes our corporate attitude with regard to respecting human rights and implementing human rights due diligence within the company.

CODE OF CONDUCT

The Code of Conduct forms the basis of our compliance program. It summarizes the most important corporate policy principles and standards of our group of companies and provides guidance for the ethical and legal obligations of our employees, who must undertake to comply with them when they start working for our company. We ensure that they are familiar with the contents of the Code of Conduct through training courses.

CODE OF CONDUCT FOR SUPPLIERS

Building on our Code of Conduct, we regulate cooperation with our partners in a Business Partner Code. It contains our expectations and defines the minimum standards, such as anti-discrimination and the prohibition of child labor, that every business partner, including its Group companies and subcontractors, must comply with in order to be able to work with us.

WHISTLEBLOWER SYSTEM (COMPLAINTS)

All Rotkäppchen-Mumm employees and business partners have the opportunity to report violations within the company securely and anonymously via a digital complaints procedure. The whistleblower solution that has been introduced ensures that data protection and anonymity are fully guaranteed. It is not possible to trace reports technically.

Background: The legal compliance requirements for companies changed at the beginning of 2022. With a new directive, the EU is protecting people who report legal violations in companies via whistleblowing systems. We are happy to comply with this obligation, as the issue is important to us.

Click here for the rules of procedure and our digital whistleblowing solution "LegalTegrity". Alternatively, it is also possible to provide anonymous information via the following telephone numbers (currently only in German)

  • +49 69 999 988 39
  • +49 800 38 00 999
