Rotkäppchen-Mumm acquires Ruggeri, a top DOCG prosecco brand
Rotkäppchen-Mumm Sektkellereien GmbH, a family-owned German company established in 1856, has acquired Ruggeri, one of the leading and best known Italian prosecco producers. Ruggeri, also a family-owned company, is located in Valdobbiadene, the heart of Veneto.
With the acquisition Rotkäppchen-Mumm guarantees to continuously develop this top DOCG prosecco brand, maintaining its very high quality standards. Paolo and Isabella Bisol, both members of the former owning family of Ruggeri, will remain active in the winery.
