WHAT AWAITS YOU Over the course of three and a half years, this apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to be involved actively in our daily business. You’ll learn about the various chemical processes used in the production of sparkling wine, spirits and wine, as well as our other products. You’ll analyse our products and be responsible for quality management. Separating and filtering mixtures, as well as setting up experimental equipment will be as much a part of your job as recording the results and maintaining the laboratory database. It’s a diverse apprenticeship that offers new and varied tasks every day. ### 2. WHAT YOU’LL BRING WITH YOU - Good GCSE results - A high level of dedication and motivation, a willingness to learn and a healthy curiosity - An interest in food production and processing - An enjoyment and understanding of working with technical equipment - A precise and careful approach to work - Good knowledge of chemistry and mathematics - Good observation and concentration skills - A keen sense of responsibility - An enjoyment of working in a team ### 3. PROSPECTS AFTER YOUR APPRENTICESHIP - A position in the laboratory. - Good, long-term opportunities for permanent employment and at least one further contract for six months after your apprenticeship. - A wide range of further training opportunities, in the field of sensor technology, for example and the option to begin a degree-level course to qualify as a Chemical Engineering Technician or an Industrial Chemist.
